A swarm of vile adenoviruses recently made their way to my eyeballs, instigating a brutal war with my immune system. Could’ve chosen a more suitable battleground, you guys..!
‘Conjunctivitis’ it’s called, when the white in your eyes is inflamed and turns red. Also known as “Pink eye”. It can be caused by allergies, bacteria and viruses. In my case, it’s definitely viral, as I got regular cold symptoms. Adenoviruses are one of the three main families of viruses that cause the common cold. The other two are Coronaviruses (not the Covid-19 variants) and Rhinoviruses.

Eye turned red on Saturday the 17th of April. It’s the 27th today and I’ve mostly recovered. So what have I been up to lately? A friend I made last summer, she visited Oslo recently and we went to a classical music concert. Here’s two videos!
It’s so nice to go for walks these days, now that spring is in full bloom. I found something cool on one of these walks.

I’m friends with guitarist and vocalist on the left.
On the 17th me and a couple of friends went to a release concert for a band I really like. Melting Brain Club. Progressive metal. They had a release concert at Vaterland for their new album: “Spiritual Filth”. It was a great experience and I recorded the whole thing.
I want to support friends who do cool creative projects. I intend to make a ‘Friends’ section on this website where I link to various artists and musicians I know. Check out Melting Brain Club on Spotify!

The day after the concert, hours before my eyes turned red, I buried something in the forest. A promising biotech project that ended up as a fallen bug kingdom. I’ll tell you more in a future blog post!

If you ever see two toads like this, here’s what’s happening. When it’s time for mating, the smaller male will grab onto the female in this piggyback position called ‘amplexus’ and hold on to her for up to several days. Frogs don’t fuck the way we do, fertilization happens externally. The male will ride the back of the female frog until she releases her eggs, and then he will release sperm on top of them. And so the cycle of life continues.

I’ve also dedicated myself to finish every Resident Evil game! The main ones at least.
Finished in this order: RE 4, RE 2, RE 1, RE 3, RE 0, RE 5. I’m currently working my way through Resident Evil 6, and then I’ll play Revelations 1 & 2 before I play the modern return-to-horror formula games of 7, 8 and 9. it’s such an iconic horror series, glad I’m finally deep-diving into it.
Speaking of horror, I’ve started pressing flowers. Intending to create my own herbarium!

Let’s finish it off with a few extra videos.
